CHEETAH MOM MALAIKA
Malaika was a super mom. Anyone in Mara will tell you that. She had an immense success rate of getting her offsprings to adulthood. That one fact talks a lot about how caring, attentive, decisive and responsible mother she was.
During my first encounter with her, I was fortunate to witness her along with her cubs who were probably 5-6 months old. One morning she demonstrated why she is called the super mom - fending off her cubs from prying hyenas.
